In this interview, I had the opportunity to be inspired by the amazing
words of Lydia Cross Mays, founder of See Beautiful. As a teacher, Lydia
experienced the ways in which young girls struggle with seeing their
own beauty. She wanted to change this, and thus, the See Beautiful
movement was born.
See Beautiful aims to remind people of the beauty that is inherent in
this world through celebrating women and girls, sharing stories of
individuals and non-profits that are doing amazing work with the world,
and creating products that support the mission of seeing beautiful.
